LG Chem provides insurance materials to KEVIT, a Korean EV charging shaft manufacturer, for the EV charging shaft casing made from LG Chem's engineering plastics product LUPOY ER5000SFL. It contains up to 30% recycled PCR PC, is flame retardant and has good shock resistance, pressure resistance, high fluidity and chemical resistance. In addition, carbon emissions can be reduced by approximately 22% compared to the original material phase.

Silicon-coated PC (Si-PC) is a castable composite material with excellent low-temperature shock resistance and chemical resistance.

LG Chem has multiple series of sustainable packaging materials, including M-PCR, C-PCR, and Bio-Circular Balanced. Among them, PCR PC and PCR PC/ABS can maintain the same performance and coloring properties as raw materials even when the PCR content is as high as 90% or 75%.
