BASF expands MDI capacity

Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Ecology and Environment Bureau released the public notice of the acceptance of the environmental impact report of the MDI production expansion project of Shanghai BASF Polyurethane Co., Ltd. (SBPC). The first phase will expand the nitric acid unit, nitrobenzene/aniline unit, MDA/crude MDI production unit and the supporting chlorine purification unit, and the second phase will further expand the MDA/crude MDI production unit and the supporting chlorine purification unit.
