Avient launches new Versaflex PF ultra-high viscosity thermoplastic elastomer for protective films

November 21, 2024 - As a professional and sustainable material solutions and service provider, Avient recently announced the expansion of its Versaflex™ PF thermoplastic elastomer portfolio for surface protective films on a variety of substrates, adding a series of ultra-high viscosity thermoplastic elastomers developed specifically for co-extruded protective films. This innovative technology is designed to meet the growing demand for high-performance protective products in the electronics, construction and transportation industries.

Compared with the previous Versaflex PF formula, the adhesion can be improved by up to 20%. Its low glass transition temperature can achieve excellent design flexibility, good crystal point level and molding performance. The new series also supports rapid prototyping and efficient customization, which can give designers and innovators more creative space during product development.
